Silicon Carbide(SiC) is crafted through the fusion of pure silica sand and premium green petroleum coke in an ultra-high-power Acheson furnace. By channeling an electric current through the conductor, a dynamic chemical reaction is orchestrated where carbon from the coke and silicon from the sand unite to form SiC and emit carbon monoxide gas.
